"A significant difference was found between use of RF and all lasers. Recanalization probability was 7.2 times (0.90/0.13) more likely when the mechanism used to treat the original ablation was RF as opposed to laser 940. Comparing RF to 810nm laser, the risk of recanalization was about 2 times more likely when RF was used. The probability of the GSV being ablated was about 10 times more likely when the mechanism used to treat the original ablation was laser 1320 as opposed to RF"
