Please ensure you post, fax or email a valid Referral, the Patient Registration form, Health Questionnaire, Privacy Policy, any previous scans or blood results and current medication list, prior to your appointment. This enhances practice efficiencies and assists in the smooth running of your appointment. If you choose to use e-mail, please note that it is not a secure method of transferring private information. You do so at your own discretion.

If you are not able to get this information to us ahead of time, please arrive half an hour before your appointment.

Yes, a Referral from your General Practitioner or Specialist is required.  

While every effort is made to begin your appointment on time, patients with special needs or the frail and elderly can cause unexpected delays. We ask for your consideration and patience.  

All appointments with a Medicare item number have a Medicare rebate, reception staff can let you know the amount.  

The contents of your medical file will not be released without your signed consent. Your medical records are handled with the upmost care for your privacy. Only healthcare professionals involved in your care will access your medical information. Vascular Health Group has a strict patient confidentiality policy.

Yes, payment is required at the time of consultation.

Yes, all compression stockings are measured and fitted by our nursing staff. If we have recent measurements on file, you may purchase stockings from our reception staff at any time.

No, our Rooms are NOT located in the main hospital. We are in a separate building called “Epworth Medical Centre”. You will find this building on 173 Lennox St, Richmond VIC (T junction of Lennox Street and Erin Street).

There is metered parking outside Epworth Medical Centre on Lennox Street as well as 2-hour free parking. Epworth Hospital has limited Public Parking and rates apply. The hospital car park is accessible from Bridge Rd. Please allow enough time, as parking can often be difficult in the area.

By train, Vascular Health Group is a short six-minute walk from West Richmond Station. Richmond station is a fifteen-minute walk.

By tram, coming from the city, you can catch the eastbound 75 tram from Flinders Street, or the 48 tram from Collins Street to take you down Bridge Road. Passengers from South Yarra and St Kilda can catch a northbound route 78 or 79 tram in Chapel Street. If you are coming from Hawthorn, Camberwell or further east, catch the westbound route 75 tram. Or from Kew and Balwyn catch the westbound route 48 tram. The closest stop is number 16, which is located on the corner of Bridge Road and Lennox Street. We are a short three-minute walk northward on Lennox Street.

Vascular Health Group is a short walk from the bus stop on the corner of Bridge Road and Hoddle Street. The 246 Elsternwick – Cliftonhill via St Kilda service stops here.
